Paintings now on show around London

I have five paintings hanging at the moment in London. The two below are at the Royal Watercolour's Autumn show Watercolour Secrets at the Bankside Gallery next to the Tate Modern until November 1st. I was delighted to see that they had been hung in an excellent position close to the entrance of the gallery above the reception desk, on either side of an excellent painting of Neon Road to Damascus II by Denis Ryan:

Down in the Dulwich Picture Gallery three of my paintings have been selected for the Friends Open Exhibition. Unfortunately I haven't seen them up yet as I went to the Private View on the wrong day - totally my fault! I'll get down before it closes on Sunday 12th October. Patriot Bar, Chambers Street, NY was shortlisted for a prize.

Royal Watercolour Society Spring Exhibition

I am very pleased to have two New York paintings on show at the Royal Watercolour Society Spring Exhibition at the Bankside Gallery, London SE1 9JH from the 28th March until the 26th April 2014.

As well as some excellent works by the Society's Members there is a display of very interesting works by David Jones RWS from the 1st World War.

Royal Watercolour Society Exhibitions Award

My painting Wooster Street, Soho won the Royal Watercolour Society Exhibitions Award which entitles me to enter 4 paintings to the Society's shows this year. The first will be the Spring Exhibition which runs from the 28th March until the 26th April at the Society's Bankside Gallery on the South Bank of the Thames, next to Tate Modern.

The Royal Watercolour Society Contemporary Watercolour Competition is an annual competition open to non-Members held at the Society's gallery next to Tate Modern on London's South Bank.
